The long wool hairs and the weaving technique allow us to link these carpets to the Beni Ouarain family, but the patterns or colours are more original. The stitches or abstract designs in bright colours, even fluorescent, are closer to what you would expect to find on an Azilal carpet for example.
One thing is sure however, the quality of the wool of these different carpets is remarkable, whether it is short (about 1 cm) as for the Zemmour, the Aït Yacoub, the Aït Youssi, the Beni Sadden, or long as for the Zaïane, Beni M'guild or Beni Ouarain carpets.
